Who is Horse#7 Designs
Hey y'all, my name is Trisha!
My whole life 7 has been my favorite number. When my husband and I got our first apartment together, we knew it was the one because it was Apartment #7.
The number one time in my life where the number 7 guided me to what I needed and would forever treasure most, happened when I was only 15 years old. I have been riding horses for my entire life. I got my first pony at the age of 2. Started barrel racing when I was only 3 years old. I've had some incredible horses over the years, but none that could ever even begin to compare to Horse Number Seven.
At 15, my horse at the time (Sissy) got injured. We were in the middle of the rodeo season and I was sitting well in the point standings. I found myself without a horse to run and was not only looking at not getting to enjoy competing for the rest of the season, but also losing my standing in my division. A family friend told me he had one of his horses out to pasture for the past few years because the two of them did not click (AT ALL) and he just hadn't really figured out if he wanted to keep trying to work with him or sell him. He said that although the horse was out of shape and a little older (18) he definitely still had plenty of years of running left in him and I was welcome to use him for the rest of the season.
I ended up borrowing that horse, Horse Number Seven. We clicked immediately! He was not only one of the fastest horses I had ever run, but also one of the most difficult. He challenged me constantly, but I grew so much as a rider because of him. I was able to buy him after just a few months of borrowing him and the rest is history...I competed with Seven for years and when he got older and his body couldn't handle competing anymore, he retired to just hanging out in the barn and pasture and living a comfy life. I sadly lost Seven in 2015 and have said since that day that if I ever created anything or started any business of my own, it would be in his honor.
So...this one is for you, Horse Number Seven. Miss you, Sev.
